Annually, since 1994, the Industrial Credit Union has awarded $1,000.00 scholarships to members, their children and their grandchildren in a “lottery” style drawing that has been hosted by some of Massachusetts most prominent figures in community and local government. ICU’s commitment to our membership has helped students reduce their educational expenses.
Since 1910, ICU has built its reputation for valuing the member first. John J. Campana played a vital role in this mission, serving as Treasurer for more than 50 years. When Mr. Campana passed away in April 2006, the Board of Directors chose to memorialize him by branding the scholarship program with his name.
“ICU is proud to offer these scholarships which can be used to pay for tuition, books and/or fees. When we have an opportunity to give something back to the community we serve, we’re all better off”, says ICU President, Roy Campana. "My father created this program and we look forward to it every year.”
